Charissa Thompson
Thompson, who left FOX Sports for Yahoo Sports in 2010, she also was the host for Versus Sports. Thompson was host for Versus' NHL coverage in the studio, and also produced web-based content for Yahoo's heavily-shopped platform. Thompson was in charge of the website's presence at major sporting events, such as The 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. Success on these two stages led her to being hired by ESPN as one of its hosts for the new evening show "Numbers Never lie" on August 11, 2011. In July 2012, she transitioned to the popular "SportsNation," enjoying a success that continued until she left the network to come back to Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May of 2013. Thompson who is a keen sports fan at heart has shown impressive flexibility in navigating the world of entertainment television. Following a string of jobs as a part-time employee her name was chosen as co-hosting the evening edition of Hollywood news magazine "Extra," in June 2014. In her role as co-host, she filmed at Universal Studios as well as hosted award shows as well as celebrity events regularly.
