Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American actress, singer (born on April 28, 1967). Wuhrer started her career when she was a teenager. Her most well-known role is for playing Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders, as well as as Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was born within Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble and worked as a cashier, and German American Andrew Wuhrer. There are three of her siblings. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School at the age of 13, she was a drama student at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts located at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Her mother works as an accountant for payroll, while her father is German-American and is a police officer and automobile salesperson. Kari has three brothers and sisters.
