Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for over twenty years. Her most famed role is for her role in House in the series House on Fox. Born in Wayne within a conservative Jewish traditions, she moved into New York City at the age of 18 and began studying theater at Tisch School of the Arts. Then, in the course of time she began to be engaged in the city's nightclub scene and made enough noise that she was noticed by the press, while also becoming conscious of the devastating effects of AIDS. Then, she combined her fame and talent with her writing and composing skills to produce a play called Positive Me. Shortly thereafter she landed a job at MTV as host of Awake to the Wild Side. She began to appear in TV and film productions following the end of the series. Initially, she was she appeared in small roles.
