Lucy Liu, an American voice actor, producer and singer is also an outstanding actress. In addition to being a beautiful and intelligent actress, she serves as a role model for numerous Asian actors who are in Hollywood that want to be successful. The early successes of her were boosted when she appeared in some of the most popular TV series. She played the evil Ling Woo. Her sudden fame translated into films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. She then delivered an amazing performance in the role of Japanese criminal O'Ren Ishii in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. In the meantime her role as an actress in the flops of the box office like Rise: Blood Hunter were also prominent. She then began to voice the characters of animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role on the small screen as a character in Cashmere Mafia did not produce the desired results. Southland was a highly acclaimed police drama that Liu starred in on a regular basis and helped to reestablish she is famous as an actress. Liu takes great care in selecting her roles, so she isn't a victim of stereotypes. She's acknowledged her Chinese heritage, however she has not let them hinder her creative abilities.
