Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor was born on April 16 1996 on the 16th of April 1996 in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish they are the daughters of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Their father was Argentine with Scottish and English ancestral roots. Her mother hails from Spanish and English heritage. She was the youngest of a clan of six children. Four are her siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's father. They lived within Buenos Aires until she was 6 years old. They then relocated to Victoria neighborhood of London. According to Taylor-Joy, this relocation was difficult and she was unable to master English in the hopes that she could return to Argentina. She was forced to transfer schools in Northlands to Hill House. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in shows. She left at the age of 16 to go to the school to take on acting as a profession. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to pursue a career as an actress. the dream became a reality when she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
